cinquain poem

 WALT- Use key vocabulary from what we read to write a cinquain poem.

Vocabulary

WALT -  build vocabulary knowledge by reading a range of poems  

REFLECTION -  By doing this mahi I learnt adjectives are discribing words. I think it is interesting that ther ar shuch things as adverbs

kotuku poem

 WALT - read to gather information and write to share key facts.

reflection  - I have learnt that the kotuku look different when breading and the kotuku is on the 2$ coin.

the treaty of waitangi

WALT - Read to find information and locate significant towns and cities within New Zealand on a map. 

reflection - I found it easy to skim the page for answers for the questions but I found it hard to find the location on the map.

whakapapa

WALT  - ask our whanau all about my whakapapa, use the information to complete them template.

reflection - I enjoyed finding pics to go with the words but i fond it hard to understand the maori sibling system.
